Since I discovered blogs years ago, I've never really got into the French ones. Maybe it was because the stories were written in a hip&trendy kind of French which is difficult to read for non native speakers or maybe just because there was nothing in there for me. This early autumn I discovered that the French blogosphere has developed to be huge. Chanel even invited a few fashionistas/blogsters to the apartment of Gabrielle Chanel to celebrate the launch of the new Coco Mademoiselle Fragrance. Alternative marketing is flying high! That's why I got myself and a friend invited to a sensory discovery of Kenzoki products next week. I also found my new handbag through a Parisian blog, as well as the addresses of some funky boutiques and products. But the best of my French Blog Discovery were all the dozens of photos of looks during the Paris Fashion Week. It even has been proven tiat if you are an appreciated look-photographer, you can get famous!
Hallelujah! It's raining!
I'm not sure if it's official but it feels like the most rainy summer since a long time! And even when the sun is actually shining, it rains on my desktop! To cheer things up and to get my brains some vacation, i like having a look at the so-called vegetal design by Hervé Gambs or having a laugh while watching Sandy Gold showing us how to get a flawless face. How horribly funny! Choosing some hot buttons at Prickie or Pinpopsis nice and risky, because there are so many. But actually my vintage buttons are much cooler! And if all of this won't help me to forget the rain, i browse through this very girly French website.
I'm very into architecture and interior design these days. Besides the fact i have a very inspiring home, i got very inspired by some of the next websites. Would it be possible to actually live in a small kubus like this? My Ninja shows many different architecture projects from all over the world. Absolutely worth a visit! Here is another amazing project. The Vitra chairs in this church are not the most comfortable (you cannot wrap your legs completely under the seating) but it's inventive and quite contemporary. I'm not sure if it gets people back into the churches though, but it's a great pleasure for the eyes!
This is spring
Color me beautiful
After many years I It's not that I don't love them, but i just don't like it when colors are dirty. I like colors bright and shiny, clean and crispy. I'm not such a fan of pop-art though. I appreciate its diversity. Like i appreciate the website of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. A nice collection of bright ideas. The ultimate combination. I guess I should put online my color scrapbooks soon. To show off some of my own bright colored ideas.
