It's probably because I can't wait for lighter days, with more energy and blooming greens, that my eye caught lots of wood, brightness and a hint of color at Maison & Objet last weekend. Today I'll show you some bright wooden designs that I liked.

  1. I love wood in interior design – I think it is one of the best natural materials to be used in interiors. It makes a home cosy and comfy and I am pretty sure it is the healthiest material for furniture in homes – thinking of a healthy living atmosphere. Of course enriched by numerous house plants!

  2. It's so interesting to see the different M&O reports and how certain pieces travel the world. I found the Karimoku tables in LA's West Edge Fair last Autumn, and they are still on my wish list. Thanks for reminding me, Judit and this nice round up! x

    1. Aren't those tables beautiful? Their colors & patterns are stunning (as are all Scholten & Baijings products… I love them!) and quality seems so nice too! Any idea which version you'd pick, Gudy?

    1. Oh really? Well it's not for everyone, that's for sure! But that's the beauty of “taste”, right? Do you prefer your wood to be darker? Painted? Carved? Or no wood at all?

    1. Believe me, visiting the tradeshow was way more overwhelming ;) But I love visiting M&O to discover unexpected designs, talk with designers, keep up-to-date, find inspiration and products for our own home (and catch up with blogger friends too!) :)
